Superior Ranged Weapons

Revolver

Firearms technology has been prominent in Midas for over a sixty years, but only recently have semi-automatic weapons capable of storing and firing multiple shots been made practical.

Weapon Die: 1d8
Proficiency: +2
Range: 10/20
Weight: 2 lbs
Properties
Off-hand: You can wield a revolver in your off-hand. Reloading the cylinder (see below) requires a free hand.
Load Free: As long as the Revolver has ammunition in its cylinder, you do not need to reload it. However, a revolver cannot be reloaded except by reloading the cylinder (see below).
Reloading the Cylinder: Reloading the cylinder requires a standard action and two hands. A character with the Speed Loader feat can reload a revolver as a minor action, but must still have a hand free. A cylinder typically stores six shots, but custom weapons may store more.
Special: A revolver counts as a hand crossbow for the purposes of a rogue's class features and powers.
